Josh drinks a lot of good coffee. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys being on the water, in the woods, and spending time with family. He is also a collector of mid-century modern furniture.

Josh Allen

Owner, Dir. Outside Sales

With more than 25 years in the lighting industry, Josh’s passion and experience is in entertainment and architectural lighting and systems design. For nearly a decade, he was a principal consultant with Theatre Consultants Collaborative (TCC), where he assisted owners and architects in the design of dynamic projects ranging from performing arts centers and concert venues, to museums, and exterior facades. He is a founding partner of 3LR Design, a global design firm providing project vision for themed environment and large-scale projects. Josh has designed the lighting for more than 200 productions, is a member of USA829, and has received numerous awards from the IES.  At WHOCO, Josh oversees all aspects of daily operations.  


Todd is a brilliant billiards player, and is a long-time member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.

Todd Bradsby

Director of Inside Sales

A Colorado native, Todd has served in Outside Sales at WHOCO for the past ten years. Prior to moving to North Carolina, he was a quotations manager for Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) in Middleton, Wisconsin for ten years, providing accurate quotations to rep agencies around the country for the company. Todd’s ability to perform project takeoffs and filter specifications is unmatched, and he makes sure specifier’s projects are quoted as designed.


When not in a theatre, she enjoys anything outdoors! Kaitlin hikes every weekend, and loves to ski during the winter months!

Kaitlin Gill Rider

Specifier Relationship Specialist/Outside Sales

At WHOCO, Kaitlin is very excited to be working with Specifiers to help them create design solutions and support their project needs. She holds a BFA in Technical Design and Production, with a concentration in Lighting Design from UNC, Greensboro. While at UNCG, Kaitlin interned as the Lead Lighting Technician for the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. After graduation, Kailtlin worked as a Production Technician at The State U. of New York at Buffalo for three years. Returning to North Carolina, she served as Production Coordinator for lighting manufacturer ENTTEC Americas, LLC, and on worked on the Specification Sales team at the lighting representative agency, QLS. As a freelance designer, Kaitlin has also worked for various local theatre companies.


When not in the office, Amy enjoys reading, film, music, and a nice glass of wine.

Amy Allen

Owner, Accounts & Human Resources

Amy is co-owner of WHOCO, and handles all accounts and HR for the company. With an extensive background in the performing arts, Amy received her BFA in Theatre from Otterbein College, in Westerville, OH. Moving to NYC in the mid-1990’s, she was a casting director for television and film working on more than 100 projects for the likes of Paramount, Killer Films, and Viacom. Moving to Raleigh nearly fifteen years ago, she cast herself in the role of Mom, for her son, Sam.


When not working at WHOCO, Noah can be found playing volleyball at many gyms and outdoor courts around the NC triangle, and is always on the lookout for a new gin to craft some remarkable Gin & Tonics!

Noah Trimner

Lighting & Controls Specialist

A lighting design graduate of the UNC School of the Arts, Noah brings to the team a strong background in lighting systems, controls integration and project management. He has helped design and implement large ‘park-wide’ control systems, globally, for some of the world’s largest theme parks. Providing project support and product information to specifiers, systems integrators, and consultants, Noah heads up product education for WHOCO. He provides product assistance and training to contractors and end-users throughout the construction process, and his level-three EOS programming status and Paradigm knowledge allows him to help lighting designers implement the final looks of their designs.
